Six forms around a central star
Alignment and multiple paths converging toward one clear direction.
A brand identity for Polaris, a US strategy and technology consulting firm, built around one idea - direction - and delivered in 18 days.

Consulting brands often fall into the same visual territory: safe corporate language, restrained identities and little distinction between one firm and the next. Polaris needed to feel strategic, precise and enterprise-ready without becoming rigid or overly traditional.
The identity had to give decision-makers confidence while making complex transformation feel structured and easier to act on.
GoalsA consultancy that sells direction should own a point of orientation: the North Star.
I built the system around the North Star as a constant point of orientation. A geometric symbol brings six forms around a central star - alignment, focus and multiple paths converging toward one clear direction.
Bold typography, a focused red, black and white palette and messaging such as "Clear direction for business growth" connect the identity directly to the value Polaris delivers.
Alignment and multiple paths converging toward one clear direction.
A focused palette that feels confident and is instantly recognisable in presentations.
"Clear direction for business growth" connects identity to value.
Consultants live in decks, so the system was designed to work there.

Polaris came out with a sharper B2B consulting brand designed to make expertise easier to recognize and complex thinking easier to trust. Direction became more than a positioning idea - it became a recognizable brand asset.
